Summary: Before moving too quickly into the GND, anti-fossil fuel protesters should take the time to answer the question: How can we avoid the undisputable science that renewables can only generate intermittent electricity, but CANNOT manufacture any of the oil derivatives that are the basis of more than 6,000 products that are the foundation of societies and economies around the world, as it would result in adjusting to lifestyles that regress us back to a time when wealthy countries had no access to those thousands of products used by industries that were not in existence before the 1900’s, such as the medical industry, communications, airlines, merchant ships, transportation infrastructures, and the military?

Biden has yet to comprehend the limitations of just electricity from renewables to support worldwide economies and lifestyles.

Summary: Biden and the world need to comprehend that energy is more than intermittent electricity from wind and solar. The world we know today, demands thousands of products made from oil derivatives that are essential to our medical industry, electronics, communications, transportation infrastructure, electricity generation, cooling, heating, manufacturing, and agriculture—indeed, virtually every aspect of our daily lifestyles and economies.

Support for the green vision “leaks” human rights abuses and environmental degradation to other countries.

Summary: The worldwide environmental damage from strip mining enough metals from some of the worst ecological and human rights offenders that exist on earth, to replace gas-powered cars and all electrical energy generation in California is the exact opposite of green.

A Public Utility District’s scientific data supports “no more wind”.

Summary: The Benton Public Utility District commissioners believe intermittent electricity from wind will unnecessarily contribute to increases in northwest utility retail electricity rates, and silently support the environmental degradations and humanity atrocities occurring around the world to supply exotic minerals and metals required by wind, solar, and EV batteries. They also believe the best long-term, sustainable, more cost-effective, potentially less risky, and environmentally responsible strategy toward meeting the CETA goal of 100% clean electricity in Washington State by 2045 could be to transition coal power to natural gas and then natural gas to nuclear.

Jumping onto the EV train without a plan will be devastating to the California economy.

Summary: The Governor’s ban on gas-powered vehicles by 2035 is a green new car wreck that doesn’t account for half the residents that cannot afford new cars which incentivizes re-registration of older polluters that will have California replacing CUBA as the vintage car capital of the world , trying to charge EV’s with a dysfunctional electrical system, the loss of fuel taxes for road maintenance, and keeping a secret about a vehicle mileage tax (VMT) to replenish lost fuel taxes, and the list goes on.

Discussions about California’s energy policies for an “energy island”

Summary: In this week’s Energy Cast Podcast, California’s recent energy policies are discussed with author Ronald Stein. Special thanks to CFACT’s Craig Rucker and Michael Goetz for setting this up. A fast paced 23-minute discussion about California’s energy policies, blackouts and wildfires, energy poverty, and the ramifications of a ban on the sale of new gas-powered cars by 2035.

Encouraging re-registrations for those that cannot afford new vehicles.

Summary: With Governor Newsom’s latest actions to phaseout the sale of gas-powered vehicles by 2035 it will most likely result in California looking like Cuba in the decades ahead with vintage gas-powered vehicles being continuously re-registered each year, that are less fuel efficient, and bigger emission polluters. The California population is 45 percent (a whopping 18 million) Hispanic and African American, and they may not be in a financial position to procure new vehicles.

While the growing world’s population pursues continuous uninterruptable electricity, California pursues intermittent electricity from wind and solar.

Summary: As the world keeps adding natural gas and nuclear power plants to provide continuous uninterruptable electricity, California is eliminating natural gas and nuclear and relying on wind and solar for intermittent electricity and importing electricity from neighboring states – a dysfunctional failing grade for an energy policy on the world stage.

He wants an electrical grid of intermittent electricity free of fossil fuels before 2045.

Summary: California promotes the growth of fuel for the next forest fire, continuously shutters in-state power plants, and has no plans to replace the capacity of the shuttered plants with intermittent electricity from wind and solar. Germany’s failed climate plan has resulted in the highest cost of electricity tin the world for its residents. The dysfunctional energy plan to “leak” emissions to other states for California’s electricity needs, to help achieve in-state emission reductions, is also based on the hopes that other states will be able to generate enough to replace the shuttered California power plants and will have the extra capacity to support the 5th largest economy in the world.

Just intermittent electricity will ground transportation and commerce.

Summary: The healthier and wealthier countries of today need more than intermittent electricity from wind and solar to support the medical industry, electronics, communications, militaries, transportation infrastructures, and the space programs.

Lauren Phinney at KUSI TV in San Diego interviewed Ron Stein about the New Book that brings Clarity to a World without Fossil Fuels.

TV Interview Summary: California’s intermittent electricity from wind and solar has being unable to provide continuous uninterruptable electricity in-state. At the same time, the states “green” religion continues to shutter in-state natural gas and nuclear power plants with no plans to replace that lost generating capacity. California imports more electricity than any other state because of “leakage” to other states from them to generate emissions for the generated electricity needs of California. The state remains adamantly against in-state coal, natural gas, nuclear, and hydro power plants. Can you see the conundrum the state is in?

Shuttering of in-state power plants, “leaks” the generation and emissions to other states.

Summary: As a result of California’s intermittent electricity from wind and solar being unable to provide continuous uninterruptable electricity in-state, California imports more electricity than any other state because of “leakage” to other states from them to generate emissions for the generated electricity needs of California. At the same time, the states “green” religion remains adamantly against in-state coal, natural gas, nuclear, and hydro power plants. Can you see the conundrum the state is in?

Before 1900 and the products from petroleum, life was hard and dirty and life expectancy was short.

Summary: The release of ‘Just GREEN Electricity’ brings simplicity and clarity about understanding a world without fossil fuels. The inventions of the automobile, airplane, and the use of petroleum in the early 1900’s led us into the Industrial Revolution and victories in World War I and II. The ‘aha moment’ for every green advocate is that intermittent electricity from wind or solar cannot produce any of the more than 6,000 products manufactured from petroleum derivatives that did not exist before 1900, that are the basis of lifestyles and economies worldwide.

40 million residents of California will see higher costs for fuels.

Summary: California’s energy island just lost a major supplier of its energy demands. For the folks that can least afford more expensive energy in perpetuity, the latest COVID victim will make California’s economic recovery from the pandemic even more challenging.

Energy literacy of lawmakers may avoid following several international failed ‘green’ programs.

Summary: The 50-minute video interview addresses many aspects of California’s dysfunctional energy policies directed toward the oil and natural gas industry that was virtually non-existent before 1900. California Electricity from renewables are incapable of providing the fuels and petroleum derivatives that “make products and move things” to support worldwide economies.

Solar and wind cannot manufacture the thousands of products modern societies demand.

Summary: An “aha moment” that every green advocate should experience. The inventions of the automobile, airplane, and the use of petroleum in the early 1900’s led us into the Industrial Revolution. The healthier and wealthier countries of today now have more than 6,000 products manufactured from petroleum derivatives that did not exist before 1900, that intermittent electricity from wind or solar cannot produce.

Summary: The various fuels and thousands of products made from petroleum derivatives are more than just intermittent electricity from renewables Summary: A major focus of Americas’ climate policies has been targeted toward the oil and natural gas industry that was virtually non-existent before 1900. Today, America has less than 5% of the world’s population (330 million vs. 8 billion). Electricity from renewables is incapable of providing the fuels and petroleum derivatives that “make products and move things” to support worldwide economies.

Higher energy costs for Americans are eminent along with worldwide ecological degradation and human right abuses mining for wind, solar, and EV materials.

Summary: The Democrats’ Climate Policy is cloning the disastrous efforts first tried by Germany that has produced the highest costs of electricity in the world for Germany’s residents. With America representing a minuscule five percent of the world’s population the Democrats remain oblivious to the United Nations warnings about the negative consequences of the shift toward exotic minerals and metals for wind, solar, and EV batteries, which includes worldwide ecological degradation and atrocious human rights abuses.

Residents continue to demand more energy while the State pursues increases for the costs of that energy.

Summary: Californians that can least afford the country’s most expensive energy are watching and listening to the Governor’s support of dysfunctional programs that will further increase the costs of electricity and fuels that will escalate the prices of everything else.

By withholding disturbing data, the “Greenies” are convincing the public to financially support the climate cult.

Summary: It is not that COVID-19 and the economic meltdown that is occurred has resulted in the public ignoring climate policies, it is that the meltdown has put major emphasis on the extraction of exotic minerals to support wind, solar, and EV batteries that imposes social challenges, human rights abuses, and environmental degradations worldwide. The green climate cult continues to perpetuate costs upon the poor and suppresses any information that would damage their message that green is “clean, renewable and sustainable”.

Racial Bias Perpetuates in Implementation of California Climate Policies.

Summary: California minority and low-income consumers are already paying the highest costs for electricity and fuels in the nation. The states’ climate policies disproportionately harm its poorest residents particularly Latinos and African Americans.

The poorest residents have disproportionately incurred the most financial harm from climate policies.

Summary: After five decades, the EPA is now seriously looking at the cost benefit ratio of future rulemaking processes in the Clean Air Act. As the homeless and poverty populations continue to grow in America it is becoming apparent that the unintended consequences of those stringent climate policies are costs that are racially biased and perpetuates onto the poorest in the implementation of those policies.

Intermittent electricity alone cannot support infrastructures, the economy, or our lifestyles.

Summary: An opportunity to focus on rebuilding California’s economy with an inclusive and thoughtful approach, as the world economies have become reliant on the thousands of products made from the derivatives of petroleum, and reliant upon the numerous transportation infrastructures driven by the fuels manufactured from crude oil, all of which did not exist before the 1900’s.

Rather than reducing demand, the state imposes more costs on the supply.

Summary: Importing the jet, diesel and gasoline fuels, and the derivatives from petroleum that are in the thousands of products used in our daily lives to meet the demands of the 5th largest economy in the world are more expensive than in-state manufacturing. Yet, lawmakers continue to add more laws, regulations, and litigation against the in-state suppliers. These extra costs onto the suppliers continue to be borne by the consumers that are already paying the highest cost for energy in the nation.

With high costs for electricity, time to stop further increases.

Summary: Mexico, like the world, is trying to recover from the pandemic caused catastrophic costs to their economy, has boldly stepped up to stop the increases in the cost of electricity for their financially challenged population. California is already burdened with some of the highest costs for energy that other states are not shackled by that will severely limit the state’s economic base and its potential for improvement. It is time to align with the leadership in Mexico and pull the plug on subsidies to renewables to stop increasing the cost of electricity.
